WHAT IS THE COMMERCIAL DIVING

Commercial divers work on installations that cannot be removed from the water for servicing, such as oil rigs, bridges, and pipelines.Divers may also perform other underwater work such as photographing marine wildlife or rigging explosives. They often work long days and typically spend weeks at sea on a job.

BELL

In saturation/bell diver the bell is merely the ride to and from the job, and the chamber system is the living quarters. If the dive is relatively short (a bounce dive), decompression can be done in the bell in exactly the same way it would be done in the chamber.

EQUIPMENTS

Lifting bags. Parachute lifting bags. Totally enclosed lifting bags.
Ultrathermic cutting tools. Ultrathermics circuit breaker. Arvest cutter. Ultrathermics oxygen regulator. Stanley hydraulic tools. Stanley hydraulic tools. Stanley hydraulics underwater breakers. Stanley impact wrenches. Stanley CO23 underwater cut off saw.

HYPERBARIC CHAMBER

The definitive treatment for DCS is hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy, or the delivery of pure oxygen at a pressure substantially higher than that of atmospheric pressure. HBO therapy reduces the size of any bubbles and improves gradients which promote oxygen delivery and inert gas elimination. HBO therapy is typically delivered in recompression chambers.

UNDERWATER WELDING THECHNIQUE

Underwater welding is used in the repair of offshore structures and pipelines, ships, submarines, and nuclear reactors. Current techniques that are generally used are wet underwater welding and hyperbaric welding. The most commonly used wet welding technique is SMAW and FCAW including self-shielded FCAW (60).
Hyperbaric welding is the process of welding at elevated pressures, normally underwater. Hyperbaric welding can either take place wet in the water itself or dry inside a specially constructed positive pressure enclosure and hence a dry environment.
